I'm doing a talk about being a maverick writer

I've never been described like that before!

Here's the flyer ...

Bestselling writer, Matt Whyman will speak on May 12 at the London Writer's Club about writing that works.

'Earning a living as a writer is often a case of feast and famine. For this reason, I find peace of mind in making sure I always have other writing work while writing a novel. Not only does it guarantee food on the table, it can focus the mind when writing time is at a premium.'

His maverick approach to writing - including fiction, non-fiction and journalism - means that he really does make a living from writing.

Why not make 2009 the year you write your book without having to starve in a garret or give up your day job?
