In February 2007, I'm travelling to Russia with the novelist Jamila Gavin (Coram Boy, The Blood Stone). Organised by the British Council, we'll be undertaking creative writing workshops, as well as attending reading groups and Q/A sessions.
It's going to be bitterly cold, so I'm told. The last time I went somewhere with subzero conditions, admittedly as a kid, I got my tongue stuck to a lamp post. I am determined not to test the elements in this way again.
Here are the dates:
Saturday 17th Feb - Monday 19th Feb
Tuesday 20th Feb - Thursday 22 Feb
Friday 23rd Feb - Sunday 25th Feb
Monday 26th Feb - Wednesday 28th Feb
Wednesday 28th Feb - Thursday 1st March
The British Council will be running a weblog, like I need another one to maintain, but at least I'll have something interesting to write about for the fortnight.
